South Pole is hiring an Associate Consultant for Environmental Impact in Xico, Veracruz, Mexico. The role involves supporting international sustainability projects, preparing proposals, and managing small projects for corporate clients. Candidates should have a degree in a relevant field, at least one year of experience, and strong communication skills in English and Spanish. We are seeking a dynamic and ambitious sustainability professional with a strong passion to make a real difference in the fight against climate change. The position involves supporting international projects, preparing proposals, and developing new products for corporate sectors.
Main Tasks & Responsibilities:

- Prepare and complete high-quality proposals/deliverables for corporate clients on Life Cycle Analysis (LCA), Product Carbon Footprints (PCF), Environmental Product Declarations (EPD), greenhouse gas (GHG) accounting services, and climate change mitigation solutions.

- Manage small projects, interacting with clients and project teams.

- Ensure assigned tasks/projects are delivered on time and within available budget.

- Manage project information and knowledge according to our best practices.

- Support the development and improvement of specialized skills, tools, and knowledge linked to our offered topics and services.

- Support business development activities through desktop research and developing materials for clients and partners.
Requirements:

- University degree, preferably in Environmental Sciences or Engineering, Economics, or other sustainability-related disciplines.

- Relevant knowledge of environmental sustainability challenges in multinational companies.

- Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience in sustainability consulting or related fields, including consultancy experience for corporate clients.

- Ability to conduct research tasks, analyze and summarize data.

- Good writing skills and ability to create high-quality written documents.

- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Spanish.
