Associate Commercial Broker (Perth)

NAB is seeking an Associate Commercial Broker in Perth, WA, to enhance broker loyalty and provide exceptional customer service in business banking. Responsibilities include pre-credit decision work, liaising with customers and brokers, and supporting lending processes. Candidates should have commercial acumen, strong communication skills, and 1-2 years of banking experience. This is a permanent full-time role based in Perth.

In this Associate Commercial Broker role, you will:
• Complete pre-credit decision work including working on files, liaising with customers/ brokers and internal stakeholders
• Create and enhance broker loyalty through delivery of exceptional services and customer solutions
• Work in conjunction with Small Business Commercial Broker Business Banker to support the consumer lending credit assessment process and deliver exceptional customer outcomes
• Engagement with value chain partners to assist in delivering and meeting customer needs

What you will bring:
• Commercial acumen and experience in business lending (may include term/mortgage loan or asset-based finance)
• Superb time management and feels at ease delivering to high demand
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, specifically objection handling and expectation management
• Experience in banking (business or consumer) - minimum 1-2 years preferred.
• Experience in an inbound phone-based environment viewed favourably
