Associate, Asset Management

Equis Australia is seeking an Associate in Asset Management to develop financial models, manage project lender obligations, and oversee battery platform projects. Candidates should have 1-3 years of experience in project finance or business valuation, with strong financial modeling skills. Equis Australia is a leading developer and operator of renewable energy and waste infrastructure in the Asia-Pacific region.

We have offices in Singapore, Australia, Japan, and Korea, focusing on developing, constructing, and operating renewable energy, biomass generation, power grid distribution and transmission, and waste infrastructure assets in Australia, Japan, and South Korea.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop, maintain, and support financial models for operating assets, assets under construction, and overall corporate valuation to monitor performance, returns, and valuations of the business.
• Manage project lender obligations post-financial close, including disbursement and reporting.
• Oversee the battery platform, including a large-scale project under construction in Victoria and three advanced battery assets in South Australia, New South Wales, and Queensland.
Requirements:
• Strong financial modeling skills with at least 1-3 years of experience in project finance, complex transactions, or business valuation.
• Experience in the power industry, project finance, or business valuation is preferred.
• Familiarity with project finance lending agreements is advantageous.
• Accounting qualifications or experience, with good knowledge of financial statements.
