About the position

Resource Environmental Solutions (RES) is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support the implementation and oversight of ecological restoration projects in Glen Burnie, Maryland. This role is crucial for ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget. The Assistant Project Manager (APM) will be responsible for the day-to-day coordination of projects, reporting progress, issues, and concerns to the Project Manager, Accounting, and Operations Manager. The APM will attend site meetings and coordinate with onsite inspectors, visitors, and other stakeholders involved in the project. In the event of project issues, the APM will work closely with the Project Manager to find solutions and ensure project continuity. Daily responsibilities will include ensuring that subcontractors adhere to project specifications and timelines, maintaining accurate project records, generating budgets, tracking schedules, and assisting with estimating, proposals, and bids for both private and public sector projects. The APM will also be involved in setting up and approving purchase orders, managing accounts payable for new vendor accounts, and assisting with monthly invoicing and quantity tracking.
