Job Description

IEA Management Services is seeking an Assistant Project Manager for Renewable Projects in Maine. The role involves coordinating renewable projects with significant travel across the U.S. for 8-12 months at various sites. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree and five years of experience in the Solar or EPC construction industry. Overview:

The Assistant Project Manager will play a crucial role in coordinating renewable projects from the initial phase to successful completion. This dynamic position involves significant travel across the United States, working on-site at various project locations for approximately 8-12 months at a time.

Responsibilities:
• Coordinate engineering studies and change order requests.
• Collaborate with engineers to resolve technical issues.
• Work closely with estimators and project owners during the planning stages.
• Track job costs and forecast monthly revenue streams.
• Manage quality assurance and quality control on projects.
• Facilitate communication with owners or clients regarding project specifications.
• Initiate and manage contracts and subcontract agreements.
• Establish monthly billing procedures and oversee timely payments.
• Approve subcontractor applications and manage change orders.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of five years in the Solar or EPC construction industry.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Commitment to safety and health practices in all aspects of work.
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite.
• Able to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
• Strong communication skills for presenting information clearly to various audiences.
• Competence in basic algebra and geometry for cost calculations.
