Conduct research in the field of wildlife ecology, with a focus on conservation and environmental sustainability.
Develop and teach undergraduate and graduate courses in wildlife ecology, utilizing innovative and engaging teaching methods.
Mentor and advise students in their academic and career pursuits, providing support and guidance.
Participate in departmental and university committees, meetings, and events.
Publish research findings in reputable journals and present at conferences.
Collaborate with other faculty members and researchers on interdisciplinary projects.
Seek and secure funding for research projects and initiatives.
Engage with the local and global community through outreach and public speaking opportunities.
Stay current with advancements and developments in the field of wildlife ecology.
Foster a diverse and inclusive learning environment for students and colleagues.
Participate in the recruitment and retention of students to the wildlife ecology program.
Fulfill other duties as assigned by the department chair or university administration.
