Job Description

The Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy (LKYSPP), National University of Singapore (NUS), invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor appointment in energy policy. Applicants are expected to have research and teaching expertise in energy policy including renewable energy, nuclear energy, and energy transition with relevance to Asia.

Successful talented early career candidates with excellent research track records will be considered for the NUS Presidential Young Professorship (PYP) scheme. Successful candidates will receive:
• A tenure-track position with an attractive salary package as an assistant professor at NUS
• Up to SGD750,000 in a start-up research grant including Scholarships to hire PhD students
• An award of SGD250,000 in white space funding
Job Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:
• A completed PhD by 2025 in energy policy;
• Publications in top journals in the field and a strong pipeline of ground-breaking research/working papers;
• Demonstrated ability to teach core specialized courses in energy policy;
• A willingness and ability to mentor graduate students.
