Job Description
WWF-India is seeking an Assistant Manager/Manager for eCommerce and Marketing in New Delhi. The role involves developing marketing strategies, managing online sales, optimizing eCommerce channels, and analyzing customer behavior. Responsibilities include overseeing website management, executing campaigns, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Candidates should have a BA/BSC (MBA preferred), 3+ years of experience in eCommerce, and proficiency in relevant marketing tools. This is a full-time on-site position.
WWF-India, one of the largest conservation organizations, engaged in wildlife and nature conservation in the country, invites applications from candidates to join the Conservations Products Division team as Assistant Manager/Manager – eCommerce and Marketing Manager, Conservation Products & E-Channel. As an Ecommerce Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that drive sales and increase brand awareness. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to create compelling campaigns, optimize product listings, and analyse customer behaviour to inform marketing decisions .
Location: New Delhi – Fulltime (Mon-Fri on site)
Job Profile
• Develop and implement a comprehensive eCommerce product marketing strategy to increase sales and revenue.
• Oversee all aspects of online sales, including website management, inventory management, and managing the e-commerce platform.
• Manage and optimize eCommerce channels such as website, social media, email, and paid advertising.
• Create and execute targeted campaigns that resonate with the target audience and drive engagement analysing customer behaviour, identifying trends, and making data-driven decisions to improve customer satisfaction and retention.
• Create, update, and regularly monitor the product content on e-Commerce websites/portals.
• Work with product management, graphics, and other relevant teams to provide updated content across eCommerce platforms.
• Co-ordinate closely with communications team to have aligned stories for the products.
• Explore new opportunities to expand online reach and onboard new channels andeCommece platforms.
• Analyse data and generate reports to track e-commerce performance - Track and report on key metrics such as traffic, conversion rates, and ROI to measure the effectiveness of marketing initiatives.
• Manage budgets and allocate resources effectively to optimize marketing spend.
• Analyse, monitor and update the Product Portfolio on all parameters- pricing, margins, inventory.
• Leverage relationships with existing and new ambassadors and influencers for promotional activities.
• Ensure that the WWF brand template and guidelines are followed and reflected in our merchandise portfolio.
• Other work in the Unit that may be allocated from time to time.
Requirements
Desired Qualifications, Abilities & Skills:
• BA/BSC graduate. MBA is preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in eCommerce or related Marketing / commercial operations, including running an e-store.
• In depth understanding of how major eComm platforms such as Amazon etc. function, including their backend stock management and systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft XLS and PPT
• Proficient in AMS (Amazon marketing services) and Seller and vendor central Amazon + other seller services and platforms
• Strong understanding of Woo-Commerce and similar web CMS platforms
• Fluent in eMail management systems such as Mailchimp or other omnichannel platforms
• Working knowledge of design software such as Figma and Canva.
• Working/practical knowledge of digital marketing across Google and Meta critical.
• Strong working knowledge of all social media platforms for branding, marketing and content dissemination.
• Must have experience in managing P&L
Other Requirements:
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Performance marketing ability, interest and experience.
• Conversant with eCommerce and business software packages
• A creative mindset and the ability to work well under pressure and deliver within the right deadlines
• Strong interpersonal skills, ability to coordinate/manage multiple tasks simultaneously and be a forward thinker
• Ability to work with various divisions of WWF and willingness to absorb broader organizational goals of conservation an sustainability
• Stay up-to-date with the latest ecommerce technology, tools, and trends to stay ahead of the competition
