Assistant Manager Research Analyst

Dr Lal PathLabs is hiring an Assistant Manager Research Analyst in Gurugram, Haryana. The role involves researching opportunities in the diagnostics sector, managing M&A documentation, conducting financial analysis, and collaborating with various teams for deal closure. Candidates should have a CA/MBA in Finance and 2-4 years of relevant experience, particularly in equity research within healthcare. The position is full-time and requires strong analytical and communication skills.
This role will focus on research within the diagnostics sector, creating a pipeline of opportunities with respect to the available labs, first level review and analysis of the deals, documentation & co-ordination for valuation of the target companies and support in the closure of the M&A deals.

Responsibilities
• Lead Generation and M&A Documentation:

(i) Identify leads for labs and healthcare facilities available for sale or acquisition.

(ii)Manage documentation and approval processes for M&A transactions.
• Research & Analysis:

(i)Create a list of opportunities in focussed geographies for DLPL

(ii)Conduct research and analysis on diagnostic labs interested in M&A

(iii)Perform financial analysis for M&A opportunities, including valuation and due diligence

(iv)Analyse financial statements and cash flow projections to support M&A activities

(v)Provide insights for investment recommendations
• Stakeholder Management:

(i)Work closely with finance, legal, and other teams for closure of M&A deals

(ii)Communicate research insights and recommendations, contributing to strategic investment decisions.

Education: CA/MBA in Finance

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
• 2-4 years of experience as an Equity Research Analyst, preferably covering the healthcare sector
• Experience in financial analysis, M&A transactions, and documentation processes
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis and documentation
