Assistant Manager- Record to Report

Johnson Controls International is seeking an Assistant Manager for Record to Report in Gurugram, India. The role involves managing the General Ledger, closing books, reporting, and ensuring compliance with SOX. Candidates should have a finance/accounting degree and 4-7 years of RTR experience. Strong Excel skills and stakeholder management are essential. The position may require night shifts and global RTR transition experience.

How will you do it?
• Responsible for the timely and accurate performance of the General Ledger, closing of books and reporting process. To execute the operations of the Record to Report on a daily basis so the IBC operational excellence and customer service objectives are realized within the given guidelines and policies.
• Deliver RTR operations, ME Closing, Reporting, Balance Sheet Reconciliations, MJE, HFM / One stream reporting etc.
• Partner with Business Finance and Stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
• Ensure adherence to SOX and internal controls and to the process landscape
• Contribute ideas and action towards the continuous improvement of processes
• Support strategic projects and initiatives
• Support and drive new system implementation / ERP go live or any enhancement project.
• Support Audit and internal control testing and ensure compliance

What we look for?
• Bachelor/ master’s degree in finance & accounting / Chartered / Cost Accountant.
• Must have 4-7 years’ experience in RTR
• In-depth hands-on experience of month end closing & Reporting
• Revenue recognition experience will be an added advantage
• Expert in MS Excel
• Excellent in English communication and stakeholder management
• Flexibility in all shift timings (Night shift working preferable)
• Must have Global RTR transition experience
