Assistant Manager Health Safety and Sustainability

Telenor Pakistan is seeking an Assistant Manager for Health, Safety, and Sustainability in Islamabad. This full-time, permanent role involves managing the HSSE portfolio, conducting risk assessments, compliance audits, and training initiatives. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree and 2-3 years of relevant experience. The position requires strong knowledge of HSE standards and excellent communication skills. The job is on-site, with no remote work option.

*About the Role:**
This role contributes to our Telenor Pakistan's ambitions on health, safety and sustainability. This role assists the Manager supply chain in managing the overall HSSE portfolio, implementing SCPC towards supply chain, with regular audits and checks for compliance with comprehensive record management and operational excellence.
Your Impactful Goals will include:Supply Chain Risk Assessment Monitoring Program Planning & Implementation as per KPIs to ensure a sustainable and compliant supply chainRunning the overall HSSE monitoring, follow-up & reporting activities as per Telenor's supply chain sustainability policy & requirements under the leadership & direction of supply chain HSS Manager.Conduct regular nationwide field audits including remote locations to check for compliance against Telenor SCPC requirements. Report identified non-conformances with proposed corrective actions, plan of implementation and tracking the status to ensure closureCoordinate & participate in investigations of HSS & labour laws related accidents/incidents, root cause analysis, preparation of articulate investigation reports including tracking of action item completionMulti industry experience & strong HSS technical knowledge with hands on working experience on renowned HSE standards like OSHA, NFPA etc.Expert on risk assessment methodologies and should be able to identify & analyse risk of complex work scenariosLaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders to implement HSS initiatives & best practicesPrepare detailed HSS training requirements for Telenor Pakistan, in consultation with supply chain HSS manager. Content preparation & delivery to supplier workforce as per training need analysisMaintain a current knowledge of applicable legal requirements and regulations as per Telenor SCP requirements and gauge the compliance statusResponsible for preparing written weekly & monthly HSS reports, statistics & presentations related to HSS performanceCoordination with teams within TP, suppliers, and sub-contractors in connection with HSS related issues/non-conformitiesProvide Lead Support in project management of all TP-wide HSS improvement projects/programs & initiativesDesign and execute campaigns focused on high risk areas with proactive approach. Ability to utilize digital media for raising HSS awareness for a wide range of target audienceMaintaining & updating all HSS related records & dataWhat we're looking for:
Education : Minimum Bachelor's Degree
Work experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Health Safety and Sustainability,
IOSH, NEBOSH, lead ISO 14001,45001 and any industry certifications will be considered an added advantage.
