Condensate Processing Unit (CPU) Management Oversee the operation and maintenance of the Condensate Processing Unit (CPU) to ensure efficient water recovery. Monitor and optimize the performance of the CPU to meet desired quality parameters. Ensure compliance with regulatory norms and company standards for condensate treatment. Analyze operational data and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency. 2. Water Treatment Plant (WTP) Operations Supervise the daily operation of the Water Treatment Plant (WTP) to ensure adequate water supply for the distillery. Ensure proper treatment of raw water, filtration, and distribution as per process requirements. Maintain and calibrate equipment such as pumps, filters, and dosing systems for optimum performance. Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues related to water treatment. Ensure adherence to environmental and safety standards in water treatment operations. 3. Environmental Management & Compliance Implement and monitor environmental management systems in line with state and national pollution control regulations. Ensure compliance with MPCB (Maharashtra Pollution Control Board) guidelines for wastewater treatment and disposal. Coordinate with regulatory authorities for obtaining necessary environmental clearances and approvals. Develop strategies to reduce wastewater generation and improve recycling processes. Maintain records, prepare reports, and conduct audits related to environmental sustainability. 4. Effluent Treatment & Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) Oversee the Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) operations, ensuring proper treatment of industrial effluents. Monitor and control key parameters to achieve Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) as per regulatory requirements. Ensure proper sludge management and disposal as per environmental norms. 5. Team Management & Safety Compliance Lead and train operational teams in best practices for CPU, WTP, ETP, STP and Environmental Management. Implement workplace safety measures to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with health & safety standards. Conduct training programs for staff on environmental best practices and water conservation techniques. Qualifications & Experience: Educational Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Chemical Engineering / Environmental Engineering / Mechanical Engineering or M.Sc. in Environmental Science. Experience: 5-8 years of experience in water treatment, effluent treatment, and environmental management in a distillery / ethanol / beverage / FMCG/ chemical industry. Technical Skills: Knowledge of Condensate Polishing Unit (CPU), Reverse Osmosis (RO), Ultra Filtration (UF), and Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP), Sewage Treatment Plant (STP). Familiarity with MPCB norms, CPCB guidelines, and ZLD systems. Experience in handling audits and regulatory compliance processes. Key Competencies: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent leadership and team management abilities. Proficiency in SCADA/DCS systems for process monitoring.
