Raise is seeking an entry-level Assistant Energy Efficiency Consultant for a 12-month contract in Stamford, CT. The role involves supporting energy efficiency programs for electric and natural gas customers, including data analysis, vendor management, and site inspections. Candidates should have a bachelor's degree in engineering and basic technical skills. The position requires in-office work on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, with one additional flexible day.

Pay: $32-$34/hour on W2

Work Type: Hybrid – In-Office (Tue & Wed) | Must come in three days, third day is flexible

Location: Berlin or Stamford, CT 06906

Work Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Duration: 12-month contract

Overview:
• We’re looking for an entry-level professional to support our energy efficiency programs for electric and natural gas customers. In this role, you’ll help promote and implement programs that encourage the use of energy-efficient equipment and systems.

Key Responsibilities:
• Supports the purchase and installation of energy-efficient equipment by reviewing applications, gathering documentation, analyzing customer data, maintaining spreadsheets, and helping manage vendors and contractors.
• Assists in selecting and managing contractors for energy efficiency (C&LM) program delivery and supports senior engineers with data collection and analysis.
• Helps inspect customer sites and conduct energy analyses to estimate electric and natural gas savings.
• Participates in contractor inspections and verifies that program requirements are met.
• Assists in evaluating high-efficiency systems—such as HVAC, lighting, motors, and controls—by comparing them to baseline equipment and building codes.
• Provides general support to the energy efficiency team, including marketing efforts and the assessment of new technologies and innovations.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering
• 0–1 year of related experience (ideal for recent graduates)

Technical Skills:

Required:
• Customer service
• Basic problem-solving and attention to detail
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Preferred:
• Licenses & Certifications: Engineer in Training (EIT), Professional Engineer (PE), Certified Energy Manager (CEM) or accredited Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Professional is preferred
