RPS Group is seeking an Assistant Ecological Clerk of Works / Field Survey Coordinator for their Ecology Team in Glasgow, Scotland. The role involves providing ecological support for renewable energy projects, including compliance monitoring, field surveys, and data management. We are looking for an Assistant Ecological Clerk of Works / Field Work Coordinator to join our Ecology Team in Scotland.

What you’ll be doing

You will provide Ecological Clerk of Works support to renewable energy developments across Scotland, supported by our experienced team of ecologists.

Key responsibilities
• Provision of Ecological Clerk of Works services including advice on:
• Protected species and associated surveys.
• Compliance with construction related documents.
• In field water quality monitoring.
• Monthly and weekly reporting on actions completed on site and compliance with management plans.
• Support with sites audits.
• Support to the wider ecology team in resource planning and field survey coordination. This would include completion of RAMS, sourcing accommodation and or associated equipment and travel, development of survey specific method statements, coordination of data management including field maps and data collection forms for field surveys.
