Job Description
AtkinsRéalis is hiring an Assistant Building Services and Sustainability Engineer in Caunton, UK. The role involves preparing design calculations, producing tender documentation, conducting site surveys, and attending client meetings. Candidates should understand relevant regulations and focus on Net Zero initiatives. • Assisting with preparation of design calculations utilising both industry standard software and spreadsheets.
• Produce tender documentation to include drawings, specifications, risk assessments and pricing schedules.
• Carry out site surveys and complete feasibility reports and budget costs.
• Accompany Senior Engineers to client / design team meetings, recording minutes.
• Understand and work in accordance with regulations, standards and guidance, including Building regulations and CIBSE guides.
• Maintain service quality standards and a culture of continuous improvement and constructive expertise.
• Participate in relevant internal / external training initiatives.
• Keep abreast of industry issues and developments in best practice, in particular focussing on Net Zero initiatives and low carbon technologies.
• Communicate and interact with others coherently, in accordance with the organisation's values.
