Working within a small and capable team, we have a great opportunity for a detail driven Asset Master Data Officer.

In this role, you’ll support the performance of Tasmania’s electricity transmission, distribution, and communication networks by ensuring the quality and accuracy of our asset master data — including spatial data and network records.

The role of Asset Master Data Officer is responsible for creating, modifying and managing network asset master data in a timely and accurate manner, using a variety of systems, including SAP and GIS. Your work will directly support the effectiveness of our asset management processes and enable informed, data-driven decisions throughout the asset lifecycle.

The role will also prioritise and manage data requests, provide mapping services and data reporting and deliver schematics, maps, detail drawings, and GIS data relating to the network and associated infrastructure.

About You

You will bring an excellent knowledge of electricity network systems, spatial context, network topology, and data, coupled with prior experience with SAP, CAD and/or GIS in an applied role.

You have worked in a similar role of maintaining asset data, with the ability to prioritise and make informed decisions. Your strong communication skills, attention to detail and problem solving skills will see you succeed in this role.

This is a great opportunity to be part of our electricity industry in Tasmania, providing valuable insights into our network performance.
