Key Responsibilities
Asset Performance Management:
Monitor energy storage assets to ensure optimal performance and compliance with contractual obligations.
Analyze operational data to detect inefficiencies and implement corrective measures.
Manage vendor relationships for O&M, LTSA, and other service providers.
Market Optimization & Dispatch Oversight:
Analyze energy market trends to identify revenue opportunities in CAISO, PJM, ERCOT, and other wholesale markets.
Develop and refine dispatch strategies to enhance energy storage optimization.
Data Analysis & Reporting:
Serve as the go-to expert for asset performance and market analytics.
Develop dashboards and KPIs to track storage system efficiency and financial performance.
Prepare reports for internal stakeholders, investors, and regulatory bodies.
Contract & Compliance Management:
Manage O&M agreements, vendor contracts, and interconnection compliance.
Ensure all energy storage projects adhere to market regulations and safety standards.
Oversee warranty claims and vendor obligations.
Financial & Budget Oversight:
Support budgeting and forecasting for asset performance and capital improvements.
Analyze financial variances to optimize operational spending and maximize returns.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
Engage with investors, utilities, and market operators to ensure smooth project execution.
Support business development efforts in evaluating new energy storage opportunities.

Required Skills & Experience
2-5 years of experience in energy storage, asset management, or energy market analytics.
Strong understanding of energy storage technologies and dispatch optimization.
Experience with energy markets (e.g., CAISO, PJM, ERCOT) is a plus.
Proficiency in data analysis tools (Python, R, Excel, Power BI).
Familiarity with EMS, SCADA, and battery management systems.
Strong project management skills and contract negotiation expertise.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, finance, energy systems, or related fields.
Advanced degree (MBA, MS) is a plus.
A passion for renewable energy and data-driven decision-making is essential!
