Our Talent Manager, Fiona Craig, will be visiting Perth next week and would be happy to meet with lawyers interested in finding more about what it's like to work with us as a Reach Legal Consultant. Whether you are a seasoned consultant/contract lawyer looking for a fresh approach, or a lawyer thinking of taking the leap to flex-working, we would love to hear from you.

Skills and Experience Needed:

With a growing base of clients in Western Australia, we would love to talk to lawyers with a current Practising Certificate (or ability to obtain one) who are interested in exploring opportunities to work with Ashurst clients or within one of the firm's Practice Groups.

We work with many major organisations in Western Australia. Many roles are hybrid, and we can work with you to find a role that suits you in terms of numbers of days/hours worked.

With a diverse client base, and whether you are a specialist in a field, or a generalist commercial lawyer, we are able to offer a range of interesting assignments. We regularly have opportunities for lawyers with excellent experience in the following areas:
• General Commercial Contracts
• Construction and Projects
• Environment & Planning
• Corporate/M&A
• Energy/Resources
• Employment law

As well as excellent legal experience you will need:
• Senior stakeholder management skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to interface at all levels, building strong relationships externally and internally
• Strong commercial and business acumen
• The ability to rapidly understand and adapt to the needs of the business
• An excellent client service focus, ethic and commitment
• The right to live and work in Australia (and be based here) and hold or be able to obtain a current practising certificate
• Willingness to engage with Ashurst via an Independent Incorporated Legal Practice or casual employment
