What We Need:

Global Services, 2K’s worldwide centralized services is a diverse group of teams offering varied specialized services to help create innovative game experiences. Our Global Services 2K Valencia studio in Spain is seeking a proactive Environment Artist/ External Art Manager who is eager to collaborate on several exciting AAA projects.

The role will require working closely with Producers and Prop-/Environment-Artists within the studio as well as external art-teams all over the world.

We’re looking for a dynamic, flexible, and problem-solving teammate who’s motivated and passionate about making high quality games. We’re constantly challenging ourselves to push the boundaries and looking for someone who is up for that challenge as well!

Key Responsibilities:
• Work with Producers, Lead Prop/Environment Artists, Directors, and other Artists both internally and externally, to support their needs in accordance with the project's artistic direction and game design philosophies.
• Check content created by internal and external Prop- and Environment Art teams and flag or resolve any issues that arise.
• Creatively and technically maintain the quality standards for the project(s) and feel confident to develop their skills and mentor those of the team around you.
• Self-regulate workload while completing time-dependent requests, proactively report blockers and request feedback.

Who Will Be a Great Fit:
• A self-starter with a strong work ethic and good communication skills.
• At least 2 years of experience in the AAA gaming industry.
• Excellent knowledge of UE5 is required.
• Good understanding of videogame development workflows and have preferably worked on at least one released title.
• Portfolio demonstrating examples of Prop/Environment Art for game production.
• Knowledge in 3DS Max and/or Maya and/or Blender is required.
• Must have a good sense of composition, and an eye for detail.
• Capacity to adapt to a demanding workflow, maintaining quality and consistency while meeting objectives.
• Able to autonomously follow guidelines and complete complex tasks within a given timeframe.
• Fluent English both in speech and in writing.
