Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
• Design Review & Building Enclosure Consulting: Prepare and review construction design documents related to the Building Enclosure, either as a 3rd party reviewer or in design. Maintain billable hours as directed.
• Mentor and train new employees.
• Engage in continuing education and obtain relevant certifications.
• Manage your personal project calendar.
• Act as a primary client contact as directed.
• Other duties may include:
• Manage ongoing construction projects.
• Attend planning meetings and site visits.
• Conduct field investigations and testing.
• Assist with electronic data analysis.
• Monitor and oversee company technology and equipment.

Job Requirements:
• Willingness to work out of town, including travel and lodging.
• Ability to work both in-office and in-field, outdoors in various elements.
• Willing to work from ladders, scaffolds, and operate lifts.
• Perform manual tasks and use hand tools.
• Lift over 40 pounds.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Flexible hours, with potential for longer days based on project needs.
• Obtain and maintain licensure with the Louisiana Architects Board.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Architecture.
• Certifications from recognized organizations (IIBEC, CSI, ACI, ASCE, or licensed Architect/AIA).
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Architecture, with experience related to Building Enclosure.
• Licensed Architect in Louisiana and other relevant states.
