Job Description
The Mobile County Personnel Board is hiring an Architect for Environmental/Urban Planning in Mobile, AL. The role involves professional architectural work in planning, design, review, and inspection of construction projects. Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in architecture and three years of experience, or equivalent. A valid driver's license and Alabama architect licensure are required. The position offers a salary ranging from $84,863 to $135,667 annually and is full-time.

This is responsible professional architectural work in the planning, design, review, inspection and coordination of major building construction, alteration and maintenance projects for the employing jurisdiction.

Minimum Qualification Requirements
Attainment of a minimum of a bachelor of architecture degree from a recognized college or university accredited by the National Architectural Accrediting Board (NAAB) and a minimum of three years responsible professional experience as a registered architect; or a combination of education and experience equivalent to these requirements.
Special Requirement
Licensure as a Registered Architect by the State of Alabama Board of Architects; or if licensed in another state, the ability to become registered within 6 months from date of employment. Must possess a valid driver's license from state of residence.
