StepStone Group is seeking an Analyst for Product Management in Venture Capital based in Baltimore, MD. The role involves supporting investor relations for venture capital and growth equity funds, preparing client communications, marketing materials, and managing data analysis. Candidates should have a relevant bachelor's degree, strong analytical skills, and familiarity with venture capital analytics. The salary range is $70,000 - $80,000.

Position Overview
The Investor Relations Analyst will provide key support for StepStone's venture capital and growth equity funds. Core areas of focus include assisting eisting and prospective clients with their due diligence processes, and supporting the production of marketing materials and investor communications for both new and existing StepStone venture capital and growth equity funds. Primary activities of the position include:
Responsibilities:
• Support the team in the preparation of institutional client communications, including quarterly investor reports, cash flow notices, transaction summaries and ad hoc investment update presentations for commingled funds and separately managed accounts
• Compose market commentary, portfolio company updates, data and analysis of valuation changes
• Coordinate with internal departments, such as fund accounting, tax, compliance and legal related to fund communication approvals and/or investor inquiries
• Prepare investor marketing materials including, but not limited to, customized presentations/materials for investor meetings, transaction summaries, and materials for various events such as annual meeting, onsite meetings, etc.
• Assist in addressing varying ongoing investor inquiries and monitoring requests: compile and create quantitative and qualitative information in response to monitoring requests and due diligence questionnaires from clients which includes:
• Conduct coordination across SPAR, Finance and Investment teams, assisting with completion of sections IR team handles, compiling information/data in clean and client friendly manner
• Maintain database of qualitative and quantitative portfolio company metrics, ensuring accuracy and integrity of the data on an ongoing basis
• Compile, synthesize and evaluate market data, firm data and other related financial data analysis for fund communications
• Provide Salesforce business development database maintenance
• Ad hoc projects
Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree required with a concentration in finance, accounting, economics, or equivalent
• At least one year of relevant experience
• Familiarity with venture capital or private equity analytics and reporting, and due diligence processes and analyses
• Strong analytical and organizational skills and high attention to detail
• Independently multi-task, prioritize deliverables, and manage/meet multiple deadlines
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to represent the Firm credibly in written and interpersonal communications
• Highly motivated individual with demonstrated initiative, independence and adaptability
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and other Microsoft office programs
Salary Range: $70,000 - $80,000
The salary range is an estimate of pay for this position. Actual pay may vary depending on job-related factors that can include location, education, skill, and experience. The salary range does not include any benefits or other forms of possible compensation that may be available to employees.
