Job Description

We are seeking a Market Analyst to join our Emerging Technologies team within the India-based consulting division. The ideal candidate will support research, strategy, and policy-focused projects for both domestic and international clients in the evolving landscape of disruptive energy technologies.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct market and strategy-based consulting assignments across domains such as energy storage, electric mobility, and fuel cells, with emphasis on their applications, manufacturing, and supply chains.
• Support with policy and regulatory analysis on topics such as stationary storage, battery supply chain, for developing reports and also involve in stakeholder engagements.
• Prepare analytical reports using PowerPoint and Excel in a deadline-driven environment.
• Assist in the development of bid proposals and technical documentation for consulting tenders.
• Monitor market developments and regulatory trends to generate actionable insights.
• Contribute to internal knowledge building and public-facing content including blogs and briefings.

Qualifications
• Education:
• Bachelors degree in electrical / Mechanical / Energy Engineering , Economics, Environmental Science, Data Science or Statistics is required.
• Masters degree in Master’s Degree (MBA, Energy Economics, Sustainability, or Engineering Management) preferred.
• Experience: 2–4 years in a relevant role in the energy or technology consulting domain.
• Domain Interest: Strong passion for the energy sector, particularly electricity markets, stationary storage, and e-mobility.
• Analytical Mindset: Strong quantitative analysis skills and comfort with Excel-based modelling.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication, including report writing and presentation skills.
• Technical Tools: Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
