Job Description
• Collecting and analysing companies' current and past energy usage data, energy usage pattern, energy procurement cost & mix of supply, baseline emission calculation.
• Understanding policy and regulatory developments around power sector in India and abroad. Identify the developments and its impact on sector.
• Evaluating alternative energy resources for the facilities to reduce the emissions & cost saving.
• Conducting feasibility studies with clear understanding of energy policy, rules & regulations
• Assisting in renewable energy tender process for technical & commercial evaluation
• Understanding open access mechanism, working of India Energy Market & various products on Power Exchange
• Power Exchange Bid Preparation and Bids Submission
• Data Repository and Data Management
• Client’s Bill Settlement & Verifications and Summary after Energy Adjustment (RE + Px)
• Co-ordination with Clients and Stakeholders
• REC Sale Purchase Co-ordination Activities
• Supporting Finance and Accounts Team for invoicing clients
• Supporting team in business development activities

Qualifications
• Master’s degree in Power Management or Equivalent streams
• 2.5+ years’ experience with exposure to India energy markets, open access, assisting corporates with energy specific sustainability initiatives
• Experience in analysis part & part of consulting assignments renewable energy roadmap & implementation.
• Skillset: Power Trading, REC, Renewable Energy, Electricity Regulations, Power Distribution, Power Generation
• Excellent communication and articulation skills
• Good Planning & organizing skills, time management, attention to detail
• Experience in carbon mechanism / I-REC mechanism is preferred
