Job Description

Eco Home Insulation is seeking an Air Source Heat Pump Engineer in Preston, UK. The role involves installing and commissioning air source heat pumps and central heating systems under the ECO 4 scheme. Candidates should have relevant experience and qualifications. The position offers a competitive salary, benefits, and requires working away from home, particularly in Wales. Full-time and permanent roles are available.
Eco Home Insulation is a market leading specalist in energy effecient home improvements.

Working under the government endorsed, energy companies obligation scheme (ECO 4), we install multiple renewable technologies across the length and breadth of the UK - In tandem with a fabric first approach of insulation measures such as internal wall insualtion.
These regularly take the shape of full first time central heating systems with a stored water, unvented water vessel. Or hybrid air source heat pump systems, that work in tandem with the current heating system such as oil or LPG boilers.
In concjuntion with these projects, we also install solar PV which assists in running the heating technology.
This puts the company in a great position for assisting in delivering the governments 'net-zero' targets and we anticpate the exceptional growth that we have already experienced over the last couple of years to continue long into the future.

The roles required;
• Full, First time central heating systems using an air source heat pump
• Hyrbrid air source heat pump installs - in tandem with existing heating system
• Testing and commisioning of the above - including balancing
• Working away will be required. A lot of our work is undertaken in Wales - accomodation, fuel and food allowance all provided.

Requirements/Skills;
• Experience of installing
• Punctuality and a strong work ethic is required
• Knowledge of converting existing systems
• ASHP qualifcation
• G3 Unvented Cylinder

Pay: £35,812.81-£50,000.00 per year
