The State of Nebraska is seeking an Air and Water Quality Consultant in Lincoln, NE. This full-time position involves reviewing planning and design documents for various water-related projects under the supervision of a senior engineer. The consultant will play a crucial role in protecting Nebraska's water resources and ensuring compliance with engineering principles and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
• Review planning and design documents for municipal and industrial wastewater facilities, drinking water projects, public pool construction projects, private onsite treatment systems, and livestock waste control facilities.
• Work is performed under limited supervision of a higher-level engineer and is reviewed for accuracy and conformance of the final product to engineering principles, agency policies and regulations.
