About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Agricultural Expert for Sustainable Practices to join our team. As a Climate Smart Agriculture Specialist, you will play a key role in coordinating outreach and education efforts to increase farmer adoption of climate smart practices.

The successful candidate will provide direct technical assistance to farmers and ranchers, develop educational materials, and deliver presentations at workshops and meetings with clientele, partner organizations, regulatory agencies, and policy makers.

Key responsibilities include:
• Providing direct one-on-one technical assistance to growers on irrigation and nutrient management reporting requirements.
• Developing and delivering effective methods to increase outreach and technical assistance to farmers and ranchers for Climate Smart grant programs.
• Providing direct one-on-one technical assistance and extension support to farmers and ranchers in implementing new technologies and practices on farm.
• Developing and designing educational materials, and delivering and planning presentations at workshops and meetings with clientele, partner organizations, regulatory agencies, and policy makers.
