Green Media is seeking an Advertising Sales Executive to drive new business and expand its client base. This hybrid role allows work from home with one day a week in the JHB office. Responsibilities include generating new business, building client relationships, and closing deals. Green Media is looking for an Advertising Sales Executive to drive new business and expand our client base.You'll focus on signing new clients, then hand them over to our Account Managers while earning evergreen commission on the deals you close.Job Objective: Your target is to generate R8,, in new gross profit per year.
This role is about opening doors, closing deals, and fuelling long-term revenue growth.Key Responsibilities:Hunt down new business opportunitiesBuild strong relationships with prospective clientsDeliver compelling sales presentationsClose deals and meet/exceed targetsWork with marketing on acquisition strategiesQualifications:5+ years in advertising/media sales or business developmentProven track record of smashing sales targetsExcellent communication and negotiation skillsSelf-motivated and team-orientedSolid knowledge of the advertising/media industrySkills:Powerful presentation and storytelling abilitiesStrategic thinking and creative problem-solvingConfident, persuasive, and quick on your feetComfortable using Microsoft Office and CRM toolsCompensation: Very competitive salaryUp to 27.5% commissionOn-target earnings: R2.5 million per yearRoom to grow your career in a fast-moving businessWhat Makes You a Fit: This role is for a true hunter – not a farmer.You should be:Proactive – Always chasing the next winPersuasive – You can sell ice to EskimosEnergetic – You thrive on targetsStrategic – You know where the best opportunities areIndependent – You don't need babysittingObsessed with the chase – You live for new dealsHow It Works: Once you've signed a client, you'll hand them over to our Account Managers for day-to-day service.
