The Role
We are seeking an Advanced Vehicle Engineer to join our team. As an Automotive Calibration Engineer, you will be at the forefront of technology, working with advanced powertrain systems, including Hybrid Electric Vehicles (HEVs), Electric Vehicles (EVs), and Fuel Cell Electric Vehicles (FCEVs). Your key responsibilities will include optimizing calibration for superior performance, efficiency, and range, while ensuring safety and compliance with regulatory standards.
Your Skills and Qualifications
• M.Sc or PhD in Electronics, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent
• Proficient in automotive calibration software tools, such as INCA, CANape
• Strong understanding of vehicle dynamics, powertrain systems, and control strategies for HEVs, BEVs, and FCEVs
• Familiarity with diagnostics tools, such as CANalyzer, to troubleshoot and debug calibration issues
• Experience in conducting vehicle testing and data analysis to evaluate performance, emissions, and energy efficiency
• Knowledge of vehicle communication protocols, including CAN, LIN, and Ethernet
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve calibration-related issues
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams, providing technical expertise, progress updates, and recommendations
• Adaptability to work in a fast-paced consulting environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results
• Fluency in English is a must
• Willingness to travel or relocate
