Consultant Opportunity:
We are seeking a skilled consultant to support the enhancement of our global fishing activity predictions through data and model development. As a consultant, you will work closely with our team to collect and label vessel tracking data, analyze fishing hours outputs, and support the release of the updated fishing model.
Your Key Responsibilities:
• Data Analysis: Analyze fishing hours outputs between the updated model and its predecessor, identifying significant changes, their root causes, and implications for users.
• Communication Support: Develop engaging communication materials and technical documentation to support the release of the updated fishing model.
• Model Development: Collaborate with our team to collect and label vessel tracking data, ensuring consistency and accuracy across different fishing gear types, regions, fleets, etc.
Requirements:
• Experience working with machine learning models and data analysis tools
• Strong understanding of fishing practices and modeling fishing activity
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
