Job Summary:

As a sales Consultant on the ground floor of a breakthrough company, you will play a crucial role in educating and guiding customers toward a more sustainable and independent energy future. You will be responsible for identifying and developing sales opportunities throughout California. You will collaborate closely with customers to understand their energy needs and provide tailored solutions that maximize value and optimize energy usage.

Key Responsibilities:

Prospecting and Lead Generation: Actively seek and identify potential customers through various channels, including networking, referrals, online leads, industry events, and community outreach.

Sales Consultations: Conduct in-depth consultations with potential customers, assessing their energy consumption patterns, backup power requirements, financial goals, and sustainability objectives.

Technical Expertise: Demonstrate an understanding and willingness to learn energy storage technology, including battery chemistry, system design, and integration with renewable energy sources like solar.

Customized Proposals: Present comprehensive proposals that outline the benefits, costs, and financing options for energy storage solutions, tailored to each customer's specific needs.

Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers, providing ongoing support and ensuring a positive experience throughout the sales process.

Market Knowledge: Stay up to date on the latest industry trends, regulatory changes, incentive programs, and competitive landscape in the energy storage market.

Sales Reporting: Track and report sales activity, pipeline, and performance metrics.

Qualifications:

Sales Experience: Prior experience in direct sales or related roles. Proven track record of success in sales, preferably in renewable energy, technology, or related sectors.

Technical Aptitude: An understanding and willingness to learn electrical systems, energy storage technology, and renewable energy systems.

Communication Skills: Able to engage with potential customers in a face-to-face sales environment, educating them on the benefits of energy storage. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with diverse audiences.

Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to address customer concerns and objections effectively.

Self-Motivation: Flexible Schedule, highly motivated, results-oriented, and driven to achieve sales targets.

Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing market conditions.

Preferred Qualifications:

Solar sales and technical Background: Knowledge of renewable energy principles and practices, current electrical costs, but not necessary. Have the willingness to learn.

Enjoy speaking to others and informing them of helpful and innovative programs

Thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment

Proficient in an office setting and speaking over the phone

Highly focused and goal-oriented

Prior experience in customer service

Benefits:

Lucrative 100% commission structure. First year potential $75,000 to $150,000, unlimited earnings potential.

Compensation Package:
• 1099 contract

Schedule:
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• No nights
• Weekends as needed
