The Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions is hiring a part-time Administration and Data Officer in Bunbury, WA. The role involves providing administrative support, entering training records, and managing communications for the Operational Training Unit. Job Description

The Regional and Fire Management Services Division's Operational Training Unit (OTU) designs, delivers and records operational training to meet the needs of the agency with a strong focus on regional delivery. The OTU also maintains the department’s capacity to offer nationally recognised training, eLearning solutions and accurate training records.

We currently have an opportunity for an Administration and Data Officer to join our team.

Under immediate supervision from the Manager Operational Training Unit, you will:
• Provide administrative and customer services support across the Operational Training Unit.
• Be responsible for entering training records into the department’s Student Management System.
• Assist with the administration of the Operational Training Unit’s central email inbox and intranet pages.

Selection Criteria

Applicants should address the following two (2) criteria. These should be addressed in no more than two (2) pages in total.
• Experience in office procedures, records management and administrative functions.
• Evidence of experience in using software applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and manipulating databases preferably VETtrak or a similar database.
