Job Description

The University of New England seeks an Adjunct Faculty member for the M.S. in Climate Change Leadership Program. This role involves facilitating online learning, mentoring students, and enhancing their educational experience. Faculty are crucial to student retention and success in UNE’s online programs. The position is full-time and offers collaboration and guidance from the program team. UNE is Maine’s largest private university with a supportive community.
Adjunct Faculty within the College of Professional Studies (CPS) are critical to the success of UNE’s online programs. The role of the faculty in CPS is to facilitate the learning process for online students through timely and effective instruction and communication. Instructors also serve as mentors, sharing their experience to help guide students and ensure they achieve their educational and professional goals. The faculty facilitates the retention of students through creating a positive educational environment, allowing for students to derive the maximum benefits from the program in which they are enrolled. Instructors will receive supervision, collaboration, and guidance from the UNE Online MS in Climate Change Leadership (CCL) Program.
