Capital III is seeking an Accountant for Operations Support in Wichita, KS, focusing on multi-entity accounting for U.S. and Mexico operations. Accountant – U.S. & Mexico Operations Support

Seat King USA and Mexico| Electrex USA and Mexico | Capital III Services USA

Position Summary

The Accountant will support multi-entity accounting operations across Seat King, Electrex USA, Mexico, and Capital III Services. This role plays a critical part in maintaining strong general ledger discipline, bank reconciliations, tax compliance coordination, and payroll oversight. This is a hands-on accounting role designed for a professional with 2–5 years of experience who is ready to grow within a dynamic, multi-entity manufacturing environment. Payroll involvement will initially include oversight of timekeeping and garnishment processing; however, payroll responsibilities will reduce over time as we transition to automation integration. This role reports to the CFO.

Key Responsibilities:

Multi-Entity Accounting Support (Seat King, Electrex, Capital III)
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations across entities
• Record and reconcile general ledger transactions
• Support month-end close activities
• Prepare journal entries and supporting schedules
• Maintain strong GL accuracy and audit-ready documentation
• Assist with intercompany transactions and reconciliations

Mexico Shell Transition & Cross-Border Support
• Support accounting facilitation of Electrex and Seat King Mexico operations from the U.S. side
• Ensure company-side compliance documentation is organized and accurate
• Support Mexico-related tax filing requirements (firm prepares filings; this role ensures company data integrity and coordination)
• Assist with cross-border financial reporting alignment

Payroll & Timekeeping Oversight (Transitioning to Automation)
• Oversee timekeeping process through Factory Track
• Run Power BI reports to validate payroll data
• Ensure supervisors have approved all time entries for approximately 150 full-time employees
• Load validated data into Paycor (until automation completes)
• Monitor garnishments and submit to HRIS
• Support bonus processing coordination
• Assist in transition to automation process, integrating Factory Track and payroll processes
• Payroll tax filing for Mexico is handled by an external firm today. U.S. payroll tax administration will be automated through the HRIS

Corporate Shared Services Support (Capital III Services Activity)
• Support corporate-level accounting activity
• Assist with consolidated reporting elements
• Maintain documentation and reconciliation integrity across shared services entities

Continuous Improvement & Automation
• Support automation between Factory Track and HRIS
• Identify process improvement opportunities in reconciliations and reporting
• Assist in Power BI reporting tool end-user feedback loops for future improvements
• Strengthen internal controls as businesses scale toward $80–90M revenue

Education & Experience

Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 2–5 years of accounting experience
• Experience with general ledger accounting and bank reconciliations
• Exposure to payroll processing or payroll oversight

Preferred:
• Experience in a manufacturing environment
• Exposure to multi-entity accounting
• Experience working with ERP and HRIS systems
• Exposure to cross-border accounting (U.S.–Mexico a plus)
• Familiarity with Power BI or financial reporting tools

Skills & Competencies

Technical Skills
• Strong understanding of general ledger accounting
• Bank reconciliation expertise
• Journal entry preparation and documentation discipline
• Familiarity with payroll systems (Paycor preferred)
• Experience working with timekeeping systems (Factory Track exposure a plus)
• Microsoft Excel proficiency (intermediate to advanced)
• Basic understanding of tax compliance coordination
