Accountant 1.6yr - 4yrs experience

Carbon Group is seeking an Accountant with 1.6 to 4 years of experience in Osborne Park, WA. Responsibilities include client management, preparing financial statements and tax returns, advising on trading structures, and liaising with the ATO. Required skills include a tertiary accounting qualification, knowledge of Australian taxation, and experience with MYOB/Xero. The position is full-time and requires excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities
• Client management and liaison.
• Preparing financial statements and tax returns for individuals, and small to medium businesses.
• Creating and advising on various trading structures.
• Preparing Business Activity Statements (BAS).
• Liaising with the ATO.
• Business budgeting and cash flow management.
• Business benchmarking.
• Additional ad hoc tasks.

Skills / Experience / Qualifications:
• Tertiary accounting qualification.
• Completed or completing CA/CPA.
• Experience in the preparation of Financial Statements and tax
• returns.
• Excellent knowledge of Australian taxation legislation.
• Experience with MYOB/Xero and the Microsoft Office suite.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work in a team and autonomously.
