What does a great Inside Sales Account Manager do?

The Inside Sales Account Manager will be responsible for driving sales and building relationships through the effective use of our phone-based interactions. This position requires a proactive and results-oriented professional who excels in building rapport with clients, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions. Reporting to the Customer Experience Team Supervisor, your activities will primarily be focused on creating, maintaining, and growing the customer base.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients through regular communication and exceptional customer service.
• Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell additional products or services to meet clients' evolving needs and drive revenue growth.
• Collaborate with the sales team to develop strategies for targeting new clients and expanding market reach.
• Showcase the features and benefits of our offerings.
• Prepare and deliver sales proposals, quotes, and contracts, negotiating terms and closing deals effectively.
• Stay updated on industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to inform sales strategies and approaches.
• Utilise CRM software to track sales activities, manage client information, and forecast sales projections accurately.

About You…

You are self-motivated, proactive, confident and hold good time management skills. You have a minimum of 2 years’ experience preferably in a distribution environment in inbound and outbound sales.

You will…
• Have minimum of 2 years’ experience, preferably in a distribution environment in inbound and outbound sales
• You will have a structured approach and experience in CRM platforms and ERP system (NetSuite / Oracle highly regarded but not essential)
• You will be self-motivated and confident in calling customers and prospecting via telephone
• You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Be able to demonstrate an ongoing interest to learn about and understand our RF and Solar products.
• Have the ability to develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Be able to pro-actively identify opportunities for improvement, make decisions and resolve issues
