Job Description

ICF International seeks an Energy Efficiency Account Manager to promote energy efficiency programs in Delaware, primarily through outreach and relationship-building with trade allies in the residential construction sector. Responsibilities include site visits, providing guidance on utility programs, maintaining project databases, and conducting data analysis. A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required, along with a valid driver's license. The position is full-time and remote.
About the position

The Energy Efficiency Account Manager will support and promote energy efficiency programs in Delaware, focusing on outreach and relationship-building with trade allies in the residential construction industry. This role involves conducting site visits, providing guidance on utility-sponsored programs, and maintaining a database of new construction projects to ensure successful implementation and verification of energy efficiency initiatives.

Responsibilities
• Conduct trade ally outreach and recruitment across Delaware's Delmarva Power Light territory.

• Conduct strategic field-based site visits with trade ally HERS Raters and Home Builders for Quality Assurance / Quality Control.
,
• Provide program-specific guidance to builders, developers, architects, engineers, and contractors.

• Attend events to build and maintain relationships with key market actors in the home improvement industry.

• Track and maintain a database of new construction starts and report on market activity.
,
• Conduct regular data analysis related to project completions and assist in the development of the Performance Dashboard.

• Prepare status reports to monitor progress towards program goals.

Requirements
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (one year of experience can substitute for one year of education).

• Valid driver's license and ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check.

Nice-to-haves
• Experience with field diagnostic tools, specifically a blower door and duct blaster.

• Familiarity with energy modeling software platforms like REM/Rate or Ekotrope.

• Knowledge of residential energy-efficient building applications and renewable technologies.
,
• HERS Rater / BPI Certified (or willingness to obtain certification).

• Public speaking experience.
,
• Proficiency in MS Office Applications (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel).
