About the position
As a Packaging Consultant at Landsberg Orora, you will play a pivotal role in helping customers bring their products to market through innovative packaging services and solutions. This position is designed for individuals who are passionate about sustainability and eager to make a significant impact in the packaging industry. Your day-to-day activities will involve generating new leads through various methods such as research, networking, cold calling, and prospecting. You will be responsible for increasing revenue and profitability by developing new business opportunities and nurturing existing accounts. In this role, you will execute sales initiatives aimed at growing sales and profitability within your accounts. A key aspect of your responsibilities will be assisting clients in establishing sustainable packaging supply chains, which is crucial in today’s environmentally conscious market. You will need to understand complex customer requirements to prepare tailored packaging solutions and quotes. Additionally, you will manage customer projects across various industries, including Food, Technology, Healthcare, Automotive, and Industrial sectors. Your role will also involve educating clients on the latest innovations in the packaging industry, ensuring they are informed about the best options available to them. Working in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment, you will strive to create a positive customer experience that fosters repeat business. Responsibilities
• Generating new leads by researching, networking, cold calling, and prospecting
,
• Increasing revenue and profitability through the generation of new business and further development of existing accounts
,
• Executing sales initiatives to grow sales and profitability within accounts
,
• Assisting clients in establishing sustainable packaging supply chains
,
• Understanding complex requirements from customers for preparation of packaging solutions and quotes
,
• Managing customer projects in various industries such as Food, Technology, Healthcare, Automotive, Industrial, etc
,
• Educating clients on the latest innovations within our industry
,
• Working in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment to create a positive customer experience that results in repeat business
Requirements
• Packaging experience preferred but not required
,
• Associates degree (AA) or equivalent from a 2-year college, continuing education and/or training required (bachelor's degree preferred)
,
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in sales/business development
,
• Ability to use and create customer presentations, quotes, proposals, value logs, etc
,
• Excellent organization & communication skills; internal and external
,
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
,
• Ability to create and maintain strong relations with customers
,
• Team player with ability to multi-task without compromising accuracy in a fast-paced environment
