As the Workplace, Environment and Sustainability Analyst, you will act as the analytics and reporting engine for the WES function, providing valuable insights that drive business decisions. You will be responsible for ensuring that all systems, processes, and data are set up, maintained, and evolved efficiently, supporting the creation of a safe, compliant, and sustainable workplace. As a key contributor to our sustainability efforts, you will foster digital innovation, lead AI adoption within the function, and ensure mandatory external reporting is executed with accuracy and timeliness.
The WES Analyst will work closely with various internal and external stakeholders, acting as a trusted partner to drive operational efficiency and support the broader goals of the organization. With a strong understanding of facilities management, safety, health, environment (SHE), and sustainability practices, you will play a pivotal role in promoting our commitment to social value and sustainability. Key Responsibilities:
• Lead analytics and reporting for the WES team, ensuring accurate and timely data-driven insights.
• Execute all statutory and internal reporting requirements related to safety, health, environment, and facilities.
• Produce quarterly updates on SHE and facilities performance for management reviews.
• Generate insights from data to support business decisions and enhance operational efficiency.
• Oversee the setup, maintenance, and evolution of data, processes, and systems within WES.
• Audit workplace conditions and ensure compliance with safety and health standards.
• Continuously identify opportunities for process improvements and automation.
• Support the development and execution of risk management and safety plans.
• Act as a backup to the SHE Manager, ensuring compliance with SHE standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and information sharing.
• Contribute to social value initiatives by analyzing and reporting data that supports sustainability goals.
• Champion sustainable practices and contribute to the company’s overall sustainability strategy.
• Drive digital transformation and AI adoption, acting as the point of contact for digital tools within WES.
Your Profile:
• Educated to university degree level (Upper Second Class or equivalent), with a focus on sustainability, environmental management, or safety.
• Working towards NEBOSH certification in Environmental Management or H&S, or a recognized qualification in Occupational Safety.
• Strong communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Demonstrated experience in data analysis and systems management, with a strong focus on driving process improvements.
• Proven track record in driving innovation and implementing digital or AI-driven solutions.
• Customer and employee-centric approach, with experience in building trusted relationships and delivering on business goals.
• Comfortable navigating and working within a matrix structure, collaborating across multiple business functions.
• Solution-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering outcomes and driving sustainable change.
• Able to embrace and drive change, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
• Experience working within facilities management, SHE, or sustainability-focused roles is a plus.
This role is to be based onsite at our Roche Diagnostics office in Burgess Hill, West Sussex, United Kingdom.
