Job Description
Allens is seeking a Workday Consultant for Talent and Learning, based in any Australian office (Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth, or Sydney). The role involves resolving Workday queries, leading enhancements, supporting change management, and assisting with data migration. Candidates should have experience in HR systems and a willingness to work flexibly. The position is permanent and offers hybrid working options, with a focus on professional development.
Your role
At Allens, our business teams are also specialists in their field, using their unique knowledge and expertise to solve critical client and business challenges.
You'll be a part of our Remuneration and People Operations team focusing on our Workday implementation and based in any of our Australian offices (Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth or Sydney). As a Workday Consultant for Talent and Learning, you will take on a breadth of responsibilities – we encourage creativity and flexibility, as no two projects will be the same.
Key duties will include
• Working as part of a team to provide triage and resolution of Workday queries and issues raised on behalf of the business and People & Development stakeholders
• Undertaking a range of Workday enhancements and small projects as the Workday functional lead for Talent and Learning
• Assisting in developing the enhancement roadmap for Workday at Allens
• Supporting all functional/technical decisions for Learning, Talent Management and other functional areas as needed
• Supporting the change management activities, including review of training materials, help guides, and facilitation of engagement sessions and demonstrations
• Supporting data migration and testing activities where required
• Providing support and helping stakeholders to make key business process decisions.
This is a permanent full-time position and hybrid working (60% in the office) is how we work. However flexibility matters at Allens, so if you are seeking hybrid working or are looking for flexibility in your work, we would be happy to discuss what arrangements would work best for you.
About You
You will have:
• A curiosity in how technology can enable, support and enhance people-centred services
• Experience as a People Systems Analyst or HR Systems Analyst with increasing levels of responsibility.
• A willingness to work directly with stakeholders to understand their challenges and develop digital solutions
• Familiarity with working in cross-functional teams and an ability to communicate effectively at all levels
• A flexible working style and desire to work on a range of different tasks and projects, supporting a variety of teams and stakeholders
• Hands on experience in (or a genuine desire to gain hands-on experience in) implementation and configuration experience in Workday in areas of:
• Workday Learning and/or Workday Talent Management
• Business Process configuration, including process configuration as well as notification generation and management
• Workday Reporting
• Experience in working with Workday EIBs, Integrations or Security Configuration is highly regarded but not essential
• Security configuration, including custom security groups and security segmentation
• Data EIBs and Workday Integration
• In addition to the above, hands-on experience in at least one more module (absence, benefits, recruitment) is highly regarded, but not essential
