Wind Turbine Technician – South England / Ireland

Windworkx is seeking a Trainee Onshore Visual Observer (Trainee Drone Pilot Assistant) for a 4-month position in South England/Ireland, starting March 10th. The role involves assisting with drone inspections of wind turbines, requiring GWO qualifications, a medical, and a driving license. Pay is £18ph with additional allowances. The job is full-time, onsite Monday to Friday, and candidates must provide their own workwear and PPE.

· Positions: Onshore Visual Observer (Trainee Drone Pilot Assistant)

· Start date: Monday 10th March

· End date: approx. 4 months

· Scope: Assisting with drone inspections of wind turbines

· Rates of pay: £18ph (GBP) work rate self-employed/Ltd co,

£15ph weather, standdown or travel rate self-employed/Ltd co capped

at 8 hours

· Daily food allowance: £25 per day

· Hours per week and rotations: Aiming for onsite Monday-Friday 9-5 plus travel to hotel and then home on Friday (occasional Saturday)

· Location/locations: Ireland

· Qualifications needed: GWO BST, Medical, Driving license

· Car: Driving essential - preferable own vehicle

· Type of contract offered: rates quoted are for self-employed, PAYE can be available subject to NI and payroll deductions

· You must provide Basic workwear and PPE: Hi-Viz vest, hardhat – safety boots – safety glasses – work trousers not jeans – work
