Wind Turbine Technician - Local in Iowa

Run Energy is seeking full-time Wind Turbine Technicians in Iowa for maintenance and repair of GE turbines. Candidates should be mechanically or electrically inclined, with a valid driver's license. The job requires in-person attendance at various wind sites in Iowa.
Join Run Energy and accelerate your wind career! Run has openings for LOCALLY BASED, full time, permanent wind turbine technicians in Carroll, Walnut, Schaller, Fonda, Ida Grove and Blairsburg, Iowa and surrounding areas. The wind sites are equipped with GE turbines.

The Job:
• Work safely and stop work in unsafe situations
• Perform mechanical, electrical and hydraulic component maintenance and repair
• Perform component retrofits and upgrades
• Perform preventive maintenance
• Provide a quality service to customers
• Follow all safety procedures and site rules
• Pay attention to detail
• Act responsibly and professionally whether on or off site
• Complete daily job tasks in a safe and timely manner
• Work with a diverse group of individuals and be a team player
• Properly use and care for company property
• All PPE, uniforms and tooling provided

Job Requirements

The Employee:
• Authorized to work in the US
• Wind turbine experience desirable but not essential (some entry level positions available)
• Mechanically or electrically inclined
• Acceptable computer skills
• Must have VALID Driver’s License with good driving record

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour
