About the role
The Wind Turbine Support Technician plays a crucial role in managing site inventory and supporting project operations. This entry-level position offers opportunities for on-the-job training in various aspects of the wind industry, including receiving, installation, and commissioning.
Key Responsibilities
• Accurately track and manage all site parts, including those shipped from the customer's factory
• Maintain up-to-date records of inventory transactions and warehouse activity
• Provide administrative assistance for project operations as directed by site leadership
• Participate in hands-on training for receiving, installation, and commissioning support
• Travel to other project locations for commissioning training
• Collaborate with site teams to ensure efficient material management and logistical coordination
Qualifications
• Experience in inventory, logistics, or material handling preferred
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Team-oriented with a willingness to learn and grow within the industry
• Ability to work in physically demanding environments and varied weather conditions
Eligibility Requirements
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
• 100% travel required
