The Department of Wildlife and Fisheries exists to provide access and scientific management of aquatic resources.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Nature and Science Center.

Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate department public outreach programs, such as conducting field trips to school and civic groups
• Prepare or edit technical and popular papers for publication
• Participate on scientific committees or taskforces at the state or national level
• Responsible for developing species management plans

Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in a biological science, marine science, environmental science, wildlife or fisheries, animal science, forestry, or natural resources
• Six years of experience in wildlife or fisheries, forestry, or environmental science
