Job Description

The Wildlife Habitat Restoration Specialist internship at beBee Careers in Boise, ID involves collaborating with agencies to implement riparian habitat restoration in the sagebrush biome. Sagebrush Biome Conservation Initiative

Habitat restoration is a vital component of conservation efforts. As a seasonal intern, you will collaborate with governmental agencies and conservation organizations to implement riparian habitat restoration projects in southern Idaho's sagebrush biome.
Key Responsibilities:
• Work closely with Pheasants Forever and the Idaho Department of Fish and Game to design and implement effective restoration strategies.
• Apply low-tech process-based restoration techniques, including beaver dam analogs, post-assisted log structures, and zeedyk structures.
Skills and Qualifications:
• Pursuing a degree in wildlife management or a related natural resources field.
• Ability to work effectively with government agency staff and conservation organization representatives.
• Valid driver's license required with an acceptable driving record.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Interest in wildlife management or natural resources conservation.
• Previous experience working in a team environment.
