The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is hiring a Wildlife Conservation Education Specialist - Videographer/Editor in Harrisburg, PA. This full-time role involves creating digital content to promote the agency's mission, including videography, editing, and managing events. As a Wildlife Conservation Education Specialist - Videographer/Editor your primary responsibility involves shooting and editing video, audio, photos, digital content, podcasts, and livestreaming events to raise awareness of the agency’s mission, news, and updates. Work also includes creating and assisting with agency marketing initiatives and digital communications. You will have the opportunity to assist with managing and coordinating dedicated agency photo and video shoots for portraits, events, hunting or trapping opportunities, and law enforcement. Additional responsibilities include:
• Coordinating live-feed events
• Managing podcast production
• Promoting informational and educational content
• Collaborating with other agencies to ensure accurate information for content
• Attending trainings for expand upon job skills

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
• Full-time employment
• Work hours are 7:45 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 45-minute lunch.
• Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
• Two years of professional experience in the development and implementation of conservation education programs; and a bachelor’s degree with course work in wildlife management, journalism, communications, or a closely related field; or
• An equivalent combination of experience and training.

Additional Requirements:
• You must be able to perform essential job functions.

Preferred Qualifications (not required):
• Willing and able to work evenings and weekends as may be required.
• Willing and able to travel within and outside of Pennsylvania as needed.
• Willing and able to work in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.
• Post-secondary degree from an accredited college or university in the field of film, communications, art and design, marketing, wildlife management, or related field.
• Professional experience in videography/filming.
• Professional experience in video editing.
• Professional experience in livestreaming.
• Professional experience in photography.
• Experience in hunting and/or trapping.
