As a Senior level Hydrogeologist, Hydrologist or Water Resources Engineer, you’ll join our innovative water team with staff currently in BC, Alberta, and Ontario as well as Australia. Our diverse range of projects spans the mining and energy sectors, demanding creative approaches in a rapidly evolving industry.

Here’s what you can expect in your new role with EMM:
• Develop and grow: You will be a driving force behind the development of EMM’s Water Resources practice in Canada, actively seeking out business development opportunities through your own professional relationships and by leveraging the existing relationships of your peers.
• Drive technical excellence: You’ll bring deep expertise in scoping and leading the technical components of water resources projects, with a primary focus on physical and chemical groundwater system characterisation and hydrologic solutions including weather and flow monitoring and climate modelling.
• Be an ambassador: You will raise the profile of EMM not only through your extensive market presence, but by being active and present in the industry via your engagement with professional bodies and meaningful attendance or speaking at relevant seminars and conferences.
• Build, mentor and inspire: You will help build and grow a high-performing team, serving as a leader and mentor, identifying emerging talent and working with them to reach their full potential.
• International project opportunities: You’ll be very much part of the international team and will have the opportunity to provide expert input into water resources projects run by the wider EMM team based in Australia.

Here’s what you’ll bring to have impact:
• Relevant qualifications and strong technical background in hydrogeology, hydrology, water resources engineering, or a related field.
• Registered as a P.Eng or P.Geo (or eligible to do so within one year of starting in the role) in your home province or territory.
• Respected and experienced (10+ years) practitioner with a well-established network within Canada’s water resources market, specifically within mining and/energy.
• Proven track record of project management and technical delivery including impact assessments and development permits specific to Canada.
• Excellent working knowledge of Canadian surface water and groundwater regulations and best practices.
• Robust consulting and business development skills with high level technical leadership.
• Experience and desire to lead, grow and nurture others, offering mentoring and technical knowledge.
