The Water Resources Project Manager will have significant impact on projects that support our clients by providing professional planning, design, implementation, and construction services for water distribution, collection, and treatment systems.
This position is available in the Perrysburg, OH and Columbus, OH office.
Job Responsibilities:
• Lead technical projects related to water and wastewater collection, distribution, and treatment systems.
• Manage all phases of project execution on assigned projects including project organization, planning, design, permitting, construction administration, subcontractor management, scheduling, financial management, health and safety stewardship, and reporting.
• Coordinate and direct the work of technical experts and engineering teams.
• Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion within budget.
• Provide timely and effective communications with internal and external team members regarding project status and expectations.
• Prepare and present project reports, proposals, and documentation.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
• Communicate project financials, scope, and schedule with company leadership.
• Develop your career on both technical and business development fronts by leveraging our diverse portfolio of work and client across multiple geographies.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in project management in a technical or engineering environment.
• Strong engineering background in the municipal government sector or water/wastewater field.
• Exceptional organizational and leadership skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
• PMP certification or equivalent is preferred.
