Water Resources Engineer - Mining

J.L. Richards & Associates Ltd is seeking a Water Resources Engineer - Mining with at least 10 years of experience for their Sudbury office. The role involves collaborating with geochemists, developing water infrastructure for mine sites, and creating solutions for contaminated surface water. Your Role:

Choose your own adventure! Let’s talk about how your skills, experience, goals, and passions can find a home at JLR. Your role will include:
• Working with an established, multidisciplinary, integrated technical team of engineers, technologists, and support staff to develop water infrastructure that support mine sites.
• Undertaking water baseline work: taking flow/level measurements to establish baseline stream flows, conducting site water balances, and building hydrologic/hydraulic models with systems that have active controls.
• Completing and submitting work permits (PTTWs, permits with different ministries).
• Developing solutions for clients for projects that involves the treatment of contaminated surface water.
