We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented professional to join our team of engineers, scientists, planners, and landscape architects working on impactful water resource projects with a focus on climate adaptation and resilience, ecological restoration, and green infrastructure. This role offers the opportunity to engage in a variety of technical tasks and collaborate with experts to deliver innovative solutions across New England.

Key Responsibilities

Design
• Perform a wide range of engineering and design tasks under the guidance of senior engineers and other technical professionals.
• Conduct engineering calculations and apply technical guidance to support project design.
• Prepare engineering design plans, construction cost estimates, and technical reports.

Modeling and Analysis
• Conduct hydrologic and hydraulic modeling and analyses.
• Use GIS or CAD to perform spatial analysis and mapping.

Project Collaboration
• Work with technical specialists on projects related to:
• Green stormwater infrastructure
• Drainage studies and design
• Nature-based flood and heat resilience solutions
• Dam removal
• Stream and wetland restoration
• Floodplain restoration
• Culvert replacement and right-sizing
• Hydrologic & hydraulic studies
• Coastal flood resilience and restoration

Field Work
• Support studies, planning, design, permitting, and construction oversight.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
• Bachelor's (or graduate) degree in environmental or civil engineering
• Relevant experience in water resources engineering, adaptation and resilience, or ecological restoration, or green infrastructure projects.
• EIT preferred, ability to obtain PE license a plus
• Experience using AutoCAD and Civil 3D; HydroCAD, HEC RAS, SWMM, or other hydrologic & hydraulic modelling a plus
